Overview

While working as Marketing Coordinator for Power-Sonic, a global provider of energy storage solutions, our newly installed CEO & Executive Team directed myself and my Marketing Manager to modernize the entire brand ecosystem and launch a multi-channel campaign to increase awareness and lead generation — all within four months.

I led the full modernization of Power-Sonic’s brand and digital presence, including a complete website redesign, refreshed visual identity, updated communication assets, and a multi-channel launch campaign. This project aligned internal teams, strengthened lead generation efforts, and created a cohesive, modern brand experience.

Process

1. Discovery & Brand Audit

I began with stakeholder interviews across the executive team, sales, product, marketing, and customer support. I conducted a full audit of the brand ecosystem, including:

  • Website structure and UX performance
  • Social media channels
  • Product documentation and silkscreens
  • Internal sales decks and corporate templates
  • Email journeys and nurture flows
  • HubSpot data integrity and segmentation

This helped identify inconsistencies, missed opportunities, and gaps that informed our modernization strategy.


2. Brand Strategy & Design Direction

Using insights from the audit, I developed a refreshed visual and messaging direction rooted in clarity, technical expertise, and approachability.

I created several creative directions, each with updated color palettes, typography, iconography styles, and photography guidance. I presented these options to the CEO and executive team, ultimately aligning on a modern, clean, and globally accessible brand identity.

This direction guided the redesign of:

  • Corporate PowerPoint templates
  • Social templates
  • Silkscreens and product data sheets
  • Email marketing layouts
  • Internal and external communication graphics

These assets established the foundation for the upcoming website overhaul.


3. Data Cleanup & Migration to Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Because the brand launch included new lead-generation workflows, our data systems needed improvement.

I led:

  • A full audit of HubSpot customer data
  • Cleanup of duplicates, outdated lists, and missing segmentation
  • Standardization of naming conventions and metadata
  • Mapping of HubSpot fields to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Migration planning and testing with the our digital agency’s CRM team

I then presented recommendations for long-term data governance to ensure future automation, reporting, and campaign quality.


4. Website Redesign

I collaborated closely with our digital agency to architect a new website centered on clarity, trust, and conversion.

My work included:

  • Developing the new sitemap and user pathways
  • Creating detailed page outlines and wireframes
  • Directing visual design across all page types
  • Redesigning icons, infographics, and product visuals
  • Managing content migration and SEO optimization

By launch, the website aligned with the updated brand and served as the centerpiece of Power-Sonic’s new digital identity.


5. Multi-Channel Brand Launch Campaign

To promote the new brand and drive leads, I developed a comprehensive campaign strategy across social media and email marketing.

This included:

  • Announcement posts and videos
  • Product highlight graphics
  • Industry-focused messaging
  • Email launch sequences in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Landing pages optimized for conversions
  • Consistent CTAs aligned with sales and product teams

The campaign introduced the refreshed brand to existing customers while expanding Power-Sonic’s presence across key digital channels.


6. Reporting & Optimization

After launch, I analyzed website analytics, engagement metrics, email performance, and lead quality. I built dashboards, highlighted early wins, and recommended optimizations to leadership to ensure ongoing evolution of the brand and campaign strategy.
